LEVEL 2: Sat & Sun, April 30 & May 1 2016, 10am-3pm FEE: $375
This two day intensive workshop focuses on fine tuning: visualizing the picture you want, fine tuning the print, bleaching trouble spots. The first day students will watch me work on my own print. The second day we’ll print students’ negs. Bring a pack of 25 sheets of Fibre paper and a lunch. A two hour follow up for each class will be held at the studio for those who want to come. Time to be determined. Students are welcome to keep in touch with questions. Private tutoring also available: 3 hrs/$135.
When I discovered the darkroom in college, I never wanted to leave. The staff would kick me out at 10p.m. when they closed. After 30 years my love for Black and White printing remains just as strong. In these workshops I hope to pass on the joy and craft of darkroom to my students.
